Our Story
We built 988wn to give Pakistani players a smarter, more transparent way to enjoy online sports betting and casino entertainment — with clear terms, honest information and a genuine commitment to responsible play.
Where It Began
988wn was created by a team of iGaming enthusiasts and digital product builders who understood one thing clearly: Pakistani players deserved better. Better information, cleaner interfaces, fairer bonus terms and a platform that treated them as intelligent adults — not just acquisition numbers.
The online betting market in Pakistan is nuanced. Players across Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar were navigating a fragmented landscape of confusing terms, opaque withdrawal processes and bonus offers buried in fine print. 988wn was built to cut through that noise.
Our platform focuses on cricket betting, PSL and ICC tournament markets, live casino, slot guides and responsible gambling education — the categories Pakistani players actually care about most. We cover the sport they love, in language they understand, with context that makes sense for their market.
From the first T20 match guide we published to the full live casino explainer we built out later, every piece of content on 988wn reflects a single editorial principle: be useful, be honest and never mislead. We do not fabricate winning odds, invent fake license numbers or make guaranteed-return claims. What we do is explain clearly — what a wagering requirement means, how decimal odds work, what KYC involves and why responsible gambling tools matter.
Our Journey
Foundation
The 988wn concept emerged from research into the gaps Pakistani online bettors were experiencing — poor localisation, unclear bonus terms and limited cricket-specific market guidance.
Development
988wn launched as an English-language information and guide platform targeting the Pakistan market, covering PSL betting, ICC markets, live casino and slots with PKR-denominated context throughout.
Expansion
We formalised our responsible gambling section — covering deposit limits, self-exclusion tools, session tracking and support resources — recognising that player wellbeing is non-negotiable.
Today
988wn now serves players across every major Pakistani city, with content that covers cricket, football, UFC, live casino and esports — all in natural professional English suited to the Pakistan market.
Purpose & Direction
To be the most trusted English-language online betting and casino guide for Pakistani players. We aim to provide clear, honest and locally relevant information that empowers users to make informed decisions — about the games they play, the bonuses they accept and the limits they set.
We believe transparency is the foundation of trust. Every bonus description, every wagering explanation and every responsible gambling guide on 988wn is written to inform — not to mislead.
A Pakistan online betting landscape where players from Karachi to Peshawar can access clear, accurate information before they deposit a single rupee. A future where responsible gambling is the default conversation — not an afterthought tucked away in a footer link.
988wn envisions a community of informed, engaged and responsible players who enjoy cricket betting, live casino and slots as entertainment — not as a financial strategy.
What Drives Us
These principles shape every decision we make at 988wn — from how we write content to how we handle player data.
Bonus terms, wagering requirements and withdrawal conditions are explained in plain English. No hidden clauses, no small print surprises.
Every feature, guide and content decision starts with one question: does this genuinely help the player? If not, it doesn't go on 988wn.
Gambling is entertainment. We embed responsible gambling guidance throughout the platform — not just on a single dedicated page.
Pakistan cricket, PSL seasons, PKR currency figures and familiar local context throughout. 988wn speaks to Pakistani players in their own frame of reference.
We do not claim Pakistani government authorisation. We clearly note the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 and encourage users to understand applicable local law.
Player data is handled responsibly. HTTPS encryption is standard across every page. Your personal information is never sold to third-party marketers.
Most Pakistani players bet on mobile. 988wn is designed mobile-first — fast, clean and functional on 4G and Wi-Fi connections across every city.
No fake urgency. No guaranteed-win claims. Our content educates — bankroll management, understanding odds, knowing your RTP — so players make better choices.
Platform Strengths
From the content we produce to the tools we provide, here's how 988wn stands apart in the Pakistan online betting space.
Pakistan cricket is at the heart of everything. PSL match previews, ICC tournament betting guides, T20 format analysis and bilateral series coverage — written for Pakistani fans who follow the game closely.
All content is in natural professional English — but grounded in Pakistan's frame of reference. PKR amounts, references to Easypaisa and JazzCash as familiar local payment methods, and sports coverage shaped around what Pakistani players actually follow.
Responsible gambling isn't an afterthought on 988wn — it's woven into every section. Deposit limits, self-exclusion, session tracking and the understanding that betting is entertainment, not an income stream.
Wagering requirements, game weighting, validity periods and withdrawal conditions are explained in plain language. 988wn helps you understand a welcome bonus before you accept it — not after.
Designed for mobile from the ground up. Whether you're in Karachi or Rawalpindi, catching a PSL match from your phone or browsing slots on a lunch break in Lahore — 988wn works cleanly on every screen size.
From a detailed FAQ section to withdrawal guides and glossary terms, 988wn is built around helping users understand — not just engage. Our support content is practical, jargon-free and continuously updated.
